New September 2019- Open Studio!
What is open studio?
To be able to do open studio:
- Studio is open for clients to do their own workout- not under the supervision of a Pilates instructor.
- Station includes- Reformer, Trapeze Tower Convert, mat, Chair, Arc (Spine Corrector), TRX, circle (plus foam roller and associated balls and props)
- Use the station as long as you like during your drop in
- You don’t have to pre-sign up, but this may become recommended if certain times become popular
- Open studio times may be impacted by special events.
- Hours: Mon/Tues/Thurs 6am to 8:45 am, Mon-Thurs 12-4 pm, Fridays 3-8pm, Saturdays 8am to 8pm, Sundays 3-8 pm
- Several options!
- Ipads on rolling stands are available at the stations so clients can access Pilates video sites such as Pilates Anytime, Dynamic Pilates (etc), or studio internet access code provided to use personal laptop. Sites such as these allow you to search parameters such as piece of equipment, difficulty of workout, length of workout, etc. and hundreds of potential videos result. You can even search by goal- such as working on flexibility, or shoulder mobility (as examples).
- 3 stations without screens that you can do your own homework plan, etc.
- Homework plans can be created in conjuction with privates and/or Neurokinetic Therapy Assessments. See NeuroKinetic Therapy under Services and NeuroKinetic Therapy and Privates/Duets under Pricing to see package option.
- We have video playlists. If you have a desired goal, newer to Pilates, etc....we can provide you a recommended video playlist (versus searching through thousands of videos and randomly choosing)
To be able to do open studio:
- Must complete orientation and insurance form with studio employee
- ABSOLUTE regardless of your years of experience with Pilates
- Around 20 minutes to complete
- Must have completed 4 privates or 15 group equipment classes at the studio (or provide proof that you have done this at another studio)
