New to Pilates Equipment/Studio and not sure where to start?
- If you have never done Pilates Equipment before:
- Start with a Pilates Private
- An option if you are nervous about going directly into a group class.
- Learn how to use the equipment (Reformer, Trapeze Table, Arc, Chair) and one-on-one instruction with the foundations of Pilates
- Learn modifications/props specific to your body
- You can also do this with friends/family
- a private (one on one) is $70 +gst, a duet (2 people) is $80+gst, a trio (3 people) is $90 +gst, a quartet (4 people) is $100+gst
- Email the studio to organize. Instructor availability changes week by week.
- AND/OR Start with a Beginner Equipment Set Session
- 4/5 week/class commitment (depending on the month)
- Learn foundations of Pilates and Level 1 (and some 2) of Pilates Reformer, Chair, Trapeze Table, Jumpboard, Arc
- Great way to start if you want a "taste" of Pilates to see if you like it/what you like
- Set Sessions are currently Wednesdays at 7:15pm and Thursdays at 7:30pm and restart at the beginning of each month
- On a pause for July/August 2024
- Need to miss a class? You can attend a class in the other set session as a make up, or attend the Thursday 5:30pm drop in beginner equipment class
- Start with a Pilates Private
- If you have never done Pilates Equipment before and have an injury
- Start with privates
- AND/OR massage and assessment with Melissa S. (RMT- covered by insurance)

- If you have never done Pilates Equipment before but are very body aware:
- Try a beginner drop in group class first, once you get a feel for the foundations of Pilates, how the equipment works- try a level that is appropriate to you. Thursdays at 5:30pm and Sundays at 2:40pm

Studio Etiquette
- For your first class at the studio, please try and arrive 10 minutes early as there is a client intake form for you to fill out
- Pilates is done barefoot or in grippy socks (no shoes)
- Bring yourself in comfy clothes- otherwise there is a change room
- Everything else is provided (no need to bring mats, water, etc)
- Since we are an open space studio, please be quiet when you arrive as another class might be in progress
- If another class is in progress, please try not to talk at the front of the studio (on your cell phone, to other clients) unless in a whisper
- when the class before yours ends, please hold off on entering the equipment space- allows previous clients a chance to clean off their machines/mats/etc.
