In Studio Equipment Based Drop In Classes

Beginner/Intermediate Mat
  • Pilates Levels 1, 2 and some 3 Mat exercises are used in this class
  • Pilates mat works the whole body and strengthens the core and stretches the body
  • Props are sometimes utilized to either make the exercise harder, or to modify the exercise for the clients' needs.
  • Suitable for those that have done Pilates before
Essentrics
  • Great full body mat based workout that combines stretching and lengthening. With music flowing in the background, clients will improve their posture, while leaning and toning their muscles. Must give this class a try!
  • Energetic class suitable for all body types
MELT
  • Using soft rollers and balls that mimic hands on light touch therapy-MELT Method is a simple self-treatment that is designed to help you get out and stay out of pain.
  • In this class you will learn to reduce your body's connective tissue stress, restore whole body efficiency and lead a more active lifestyle.
  • Suitable for all body types.
Myofascial Release/Stretch Class
  • Have sore/achy/tight parts of your body? This class is for you!
  • Balls, rollers and therabands are used to release various parts of the body (based upon client demand for that particular class) followed by stretching and lengthening exercise.
  • Techniques are learned that clients can repeat at home.
  • Suitable for all body types
Beginner Equipment
  • Ideal for those that are new to Pilates, these 50 minute classes focus on the Pilates fundamentals.
  • The weights and movements associated with the equipment add an element of difficulty and coordination.
  • Equipment classes are progressive in nature and Beginner Equipment focuses on levels 1 and 2 of Reformer, Trapeze Table and Chair exercises. Focus is predominately on Reformer equipment.
Beginner/Intermediate Equipment
  • Beginner/Intermediate Equipment builds on beginner equipment. Ideal for those that have done Pilates and/or have some body injuries/issues.
  • The weights and movements associated with the equipment add an element of difficulty and coordination.
  • Equipment classes are progressive in nature and Beginner/Intermediate Equipment focuses on levels 1 and 2 and some 3 of Reformer, Trapeze Table and Chair exercises. There is more integration of Trapeze Table, Chair and Arc in Beg/Int.
Chair Class
  • Prepare to get a sweat on and have your muscles burn.
  • Pilates chair is predominantly intermediate plus (although there are some beginner level exercises).
  • The chair challenges your stability and strength. Great class for those that want to feel muscles aches the day after.
Intermediate Equipment
  • For those that have experience with Pilates equipment, Intermediate Equipment is ideal.
  • Clients should be familiar with some of the names of the exercises and be able to set up their machines and change the spring tension between exercises.
Intermediate/Advanced Equipment
  • For those that have experience with Pilates. If you have injuries or issues going on in your body- this class is likely not for you (unless you have good body awareness).
  • Reformer, Trapeze Table, Chair and Arc are used- moving between Levels 1-4 Pilates exercises.
Intermediate/Advanced Reformer Repertoire
  • Getting back to the basics. This class focuses on following the classical Reformer Repertoire.
  • Exercises range from easy to hard and follow a set sequence each class.
  • For those that want to follow their progress and see if they are "getting better" at being able to perform an exercise.
  • Previous experience with Pilates reformer required.
Jumpboard
  • Jump-Board is an accessory to the Reformer that adds an element of cardio to Pilates.
  • The Jumpboard tones muscles in the legs and glutes (you will feel the burn!).
  • In the Jumpboard class, intervals of Jumboard are interspersed with arm and core workouts with the use of props such as balls, hand weights and therabands.
  • This class is suitable for all levels- but expect to get your heart rate up and be a little sweaty!
Jumpboard and Stretch
  • See Jumpboard description above.
  • With Jump-Board and Stretch we add in sections of stretch to help lengthen you out once the jump-board has warmed you up!
  • Suitable for all levels.
Mixed Equipment and Jumpboard
  • A great mix for those that love jump-board but also love reformer and chair (or vice versa).
  • This class helps you get some cardio with the jump-board (and toning those legs!) but also focuses on strengthening the arms, back and core and lengthening out the body. A great combo!
Mixed Mat and Equipment
  • Best of both worlds! For those that enjoy both mat and equipment Pilates- this is the class for you.
  • Every class is 50% mat and 50% equipment.
  • Beginner based classes focus more on using the reformer, Beginner/Intermediate and Intermediate classes might also include the use of the Chair and Trapeze Table.
Trapeze Table Class
  • A staple of every well-equipped Pilates facility, the Trapeze Table (sometimes called Cadillac) offers an extensive range of applications for everyone from post-rehab clients to athletes.
  • Clients find that the Trapeze Table lengthens out their body and they are noticeably more flexible at the end of class. The use of tower and springs encourages clients to move at a more controlled/measured pace that causes numerous muscles to work...leaving the body shaky!
TRX Infused Equipment Class
  • If you haven't heard of TRX- check out www.trxtraining.com
  • A total body workout that forces you to not only use your big strong muscles, but work your stabilizing muscles as well. TRX leverages your own bodyweight to give a complete, intensive body workout.
  • The TRX is combined with Pilates equipment- whether that be reformer, chair or trapeze table to give a well rounded workout- strength, stability, balance and lengthening.
  • All exercises have modifications, so this class is suitable for multiple fitness levels. But we warned- the TRX system was designed by a Navy SEAL to keep soldiers fit while away in combat.
